Fare structure
Same standard tariff: Sedan Rs.13/km, Innova Rs.19/km, Crysta Rs.25/km. Driver bata Rs.300. We do NOT add a medical-emergency surcharge — pricing remains transparent. Wheelchair-accessible Innova is the same rate as regular Innova.
Innova is the most-booked option for medical travel — 7 seats, reclining configuration, can carry oxygen cylinder. Crysta for premium comfort on long-distance transfers (>500 km).
Is wheelchair access available?
Yes — request a wheelchair-accessible Innova at booking. We have several in the Chennai and Bangalore fleet. Same rate as standard Innova.
Can the driver help with patient transfer?
Drivers assist with luggage and door-to-door transfer for ambulatory patients. For non-ambulatory patients we recommend booking with a family attendant or arranging an ambulance for the transfer leg.
Is the cab sanitised for immunocompromised patients?
All Bharat One Way vehicles are sanitised between trips. For higher-risk patients, request the post-cleaning sanitisation upgrade — driver will sanitise again at pickup.
Can I get a GST invoice for insurance claim?
Yes. Request GST invoice at booking — we email it within 24 hours of trip completion. Most major Indian health insurance providers reimburse documented transport costs.
Do you carry oxygen for patient transport?
No — we are a taxi service, not an ambulance. For oxygen-dependent transport, use a registered ambulance service. For stable, ambulatory patients with their own oxygen, our Innova has the space for a portable cylinder.
What about late-night discharge pickups?
We dispatch 24/7 with no surge. CMC Vellore late-night discharges and Chennai Airport medical arrivals are core to our service.
